PERSONAL INTERESTS
Tunde was involved in the Griffiths Trust ‘Hush The Guns’ Project in Kingston Jamaica in 2009, and was also commissioned by the Jamaican and Canadian Government to facilitate workshops for disaffected youths. Tunde was the host for the BBC London youth debate, ‘London speaks’ in aid of the 1,000 days till the 2012 Olympics, and a debate for the Para Olympics in December 2009. Tunde has substantial public speaking experience and regularly attends engagements for charitable bodies. In his spare time Tunde is heavily involved in community work . Tunde is at present working on a new project called Urban Lawyer, which has been awarded funding and is being supported by Lovells pro bono unit. Tunde is also President and Founder of Information Generation a social enterprise that provides information for disaffected communities.

  AREAS OF EXPERTISE
Tunde has a comprehensive practice comprising of General Crime, Serious Crime and Extradition. All Tunde’s work encompasses an element of Human Rights and committed to issues of social justice and civil liberties.

Tunde appears regularly in the Crown Court in his own right, and appears exclusively for the defence. He is currently instructed as junior counsel in two murder trials and has conducted Crown Court trials for offences including GBH, False Imprisonment, Robbery and Importation of Class A drugs.

Tunde has substantial experience in the Magistrates' and Youth Courts and he has developed a successful practice in defending young and vulnerable people. Tunde has also appeared in the Divisional Court to appeal a Magistrates’ Court decision by way of case stated.
