AREAS OF EXPERTISE Crime – Defence.
BIOGRAPHY James Hasslacher is an experienced defence advocate who has appeared in a variety of trials and in the Court of Appeal. He has prosecuted on a private basis for the General Osteopeathic Council and secured the first ever conviction under the Section 32 Osteoptaths Act 1993. He has been instructed on a number of murder cases, all bar one where he has been lead.That one he conducted on his own at the Central Criminal Court, the final outcome being a plea to manslaughter on the basis of diminished responsibility.
He has further represented a 12 year old accused of rape, a 65 year old accused of rape and has been instructed on a number of cases involving allegations of sexual misconduct.
