BIOGRAPHY
Having left college, Denece joined a small local law firm in Suffolk, where she commenced her legal career. Whilst working full time as a trainee Legal Executive, Denece was also studying for her Legal Executive examinations. In 1992 the London lights called and she acquired a position, again as a trainee Legal Executive with Philippsohn Crawfords Berwald Solicitors who are still based in High Holborn and the City. Denece remained with that firm for approximately 2 ½ years and continued to study for her Legal Executives Part II examinations. It was whilst working at PCB that Denece and the court room became acquainted. She would regularly attend the High Court on interlocutory applications or assist Counsel in larger scale fraud cases and it was here that finally she could no longer ignore the pull of the court room. Her application to read Law at university was successful, where she completed her degree and then proceeded to take her Bar Finals at the Inns of Court School of Law. In 1999 she was officially called to the Bar and has been in full time practice ever since.
