CASES OF NOTE Called to the Bar in 1989 after having “done other things” which included racing motorcycles. Since being called he has spent the majority of his time at 3 Temple Gardens. He has specialised in criminal work since his first days at the Bar.
He has built up a first class practice which nowadays seems to consist of much “heavy” crime. He has been instructed in upwards of twenty murder cases, enjoying numerous successes, most particularly with Miss Greenberg QC. Cases with her include:
R v Morse (Daniel Hendley murder)
R v Wright (ie the death of Lauren Wright)
R v Morrissey (Luton C. C.)
R v Chan (The Casino Bloodbath)
R v York (The “odd couple” murder)
R v Pitt and Others (The Manchester gang murders)
R v Ripley (C.C.C.)
R v Marney (C.C.C.)
R v White (The squaddie murder, Bristol Crown Court)
He is a family man and has two daughters aged 8 and 10. His interests include motorcycles, motorcycle racing and firearms. Other interests include trying to make a living at the Criminal Bar in the current political climate.
