AREAS OF EXPERTISE All types of criminal work in the Crown Court, Magistrates and Youth Court. Louise has also undertaken work for HMRC and the DWP, and has been instructed in extradition matters, ASBO hearings, and acted in cash forfeiture hearings.
PREVIOUS CAREER Prior to joining Chambers Louise worked for a firm of criminal defence solicitors for twelve months.
Louise was previously employed as a Chartered Physiotherapist at the National Spinal Injuries Centre where she gained extensive experience in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients who suffered traumatic injury. She transferred to a career in law following experience representing union members for the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
Louise also has an honours degree in Process Biotechnology and has worked as an analytical services scientist.
