BARRISTER PROFILE
Paul Andrews
E:
Call: 2003

  BIOGRAPHY
He left school at the age of 16 and went straight into the mining industry in the Yorkshire coalfields. He worked down the mines for seven years before the desolation of the coalfields. There then seemed no option to him other than to pursue a career at the Bar.

He studied at Kingston University achieving a 2:1 in Quantity Surveying and was employed as a Quantity Surveyor before crossing to the legal profession.

He describes his present circumstances as follows:

“So here I am at 4 Breams Buildings, a late entrant but enthusiastic with a fast developing Crown Court defence practice and a wealth of knowledge in business, construction and life.

“In my spare time (!!) I enjoy live music and comedy, when I’m not underneath my VW camper van with a spanner, and I have just become involved as an Advocacy Trainer for Bar Students with the Inner Temple. I speak conversational English and am fluent in Yorkshire.”
